A loyalist and a patriot . . . The door slammed shut as a young man, bundled up in a long coat and broad brimmed hat, hurried into the bustling tavern. Outside, a harsh wind blew fiercely as the night set in on the city. The warmth of the inside of the building drew many like moths to a flame and the youth was forced to take a seat at the corner of the bar by an older man with a bristled beard. As he settled into his seat and took of his hat, his new companion, by utter chance, raised his head and the face of the well-known loyalist became clear. The pair sneered at each other; the youth was equally well-known for being a patA loyalist and a patriot . . .
